The most successful and popular band in Smileton, TRUK NUTZZ, will be playing a live music event this Friday (7/13/12) at Smileton’s premier entertainment destination, The Smileton Music and Salsa Factory (478 E. Cameron Ave) at 8:30PM to benefit the Smileton Sidewalk Removal Program.
All 4 original members of the band have reunited for this special occasion; which means Smiletonians are in for a treat! Lead guitarist and singer, Ax Battlewound (real name Mark Singer) had this to say to The Smiletoneer “It’ll be really great to get back on stage with Oozing Pustular (Alex Markman, bass guitar), Crooked Ponycock (Eric Smythe, rhythm guitar) and Weeping Fingerblaster (Alvin Loprieato, drums) again. It seems like it’s been ages since we’ve really let loose and shredded as unit. We’ve been practicing for weeks and it sounds really good. We’ll definitely be ready to bring the house down this Friday.”
Smiletonians most remember TRUK NUTZZ for their smash hit cover of Smash Mouth’s “Walking On The Sun” which won the band a local Grammy for “Best Achievement.” TRUK NUTZZ has also been named “Smileton’s Favorite Band” for 12 years running. Don’t miss out on a once in a lifetime opportunity to rub elbows with some legends and rock out for a good cause!
